11. Maintenance of the exchanger and fans
Inspect the exchanger and the fans once every four years
• Remove Perilex plug

from the socket.
• Detach the front by removing screws

• Detach plugs

(only with bypass).
• Remove rubber seal

• Pull band

to remove the heat exchanger and the drip tray

Remove the heat exchanger from the drip tray

• If necessary, clean the exchanger. Immerse the exchanger several
times in warm water (max. 40°C), containing a solution of non-aggres-
sive dishwasher detergent. Immerse the exchanger with the ribbed side
vertical. Then rinse the exchanger with clean, warm water (max. 40°C).
Hold the exchanger by the green side panels and shake the water out
of the exchanger.

Do not use aggressive or dissolvent detergents in cleaning.
• Use a soft brush to clean the fan blades.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust.

Take care not to damage the fan blades.

Take care not to damage the temperature sensor

• Close covers, replace exchanger and drip tray, fit the rubber seal,
connect plugs, attach front and insert Perilex plug into socket.

When fitting the exchanger and the drip tray ensure the condensa-
tion drain is on the same side as the condensation drain connection.
