3.5.3. Explosion protection classification
Your product
PROFI 25 TI
is marked according to
EC directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN 1127-1 as
follows:
II 3 GD IIB T4(X)
II 2 GD IIA T4(X)
The additional marking “X” refers to the explosion
protection in the operating instructions.
II 3 GD IIB T4(X):
Your product
PROFI 25 TI
is a device in category 3, can be used in gen-
eral industry, in zone 2 for gases of the explosion
groups IIA and IIB with an ignition temperature
over 135
◦
C (275
◦
F), provided the substances
of hydrogen sulphide and ethylene oxide are ex-
cluded.
Your product can also be used in zone 22 for dusts
with smouldering temperatures above 210
◦
C
(410
◦
F) or ignition temperatures above 203
◦
C
(398
◦
F).
Additional label “X”:
This mark does not allow use
in the event of light alloy metal or other impact
sensitive dusts. The permissible ambient tempera-
ture range is from -20
◦
C (-4
◦
F) to +70
◦
C (+158
◦
F).
With load capacities from 25t, no continuous oper-
ation of the hoists is permitted if the ambient tem-
perature e50
◦
C (+122
◦
F). In these cases,
cooling times are to be met so as not to exceed
the permissible surface temperatures.
II 2 GD IIA T4(X):
Your product

a device in category 2, can be used in general in-
dustry, in zones 1 and 2 for gases of the explosion
group IIA with an ignition temperature over 135
