ATX Form-Factor Overview 

 

The P55XU/XUW

 ha s been designed with ATX  form -fa ctor. The boa rd size is 

12" x 9.6" (305mm x 245mm). The ATX  form-fa ctor improves over Ba by AT 
a nd LPX in a  number of wa ys. By using the ATX  cha ssis then the power supply 
orienta tion a nd specifica tion a nd rota ting the Ba by AT ba seboa rd through 90 
degrees, the Pentium Pro processor ca n be reloca ted a wa y from the expa nsion 
slots, a nd the longer  side of Add-on ca rd ca n be used to host more on boa rd I/O.
