Safety regulations for the use
This model row of pipe welding is designed for the
connecting of thermoplastic pipe such as PP-R and
PE.
The following listed safety instructions should serve
you for the right use and for the protection of your
own safety. Therefore please read this very carefully.
When passing this device over to a third person,
these instructions must be handed out, too.
Please, read and take note of the following
comments that regard your protection against
electric shock and risk of injury and ire:
When using electrical tools, the
following safety instructions should be
observed to prevent the risk of electric
shock, personal injury and ire. Read and observe
these instructions carefully before using the tool.
Verify that the power supply in your area is
•
compatible with the voltage listed on the machine.
The power supply must be earthed.
•
In order to prevent dangerous overheating,
•
it is recommended that the lead is unwound
completely.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite
•
injuries.
Consider work area environment. Do not expose
•
power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in damp
or wet locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not use
power tools near lammable liquids or gases.
Guard against electric shock. Prevent body
•
contact with grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators,
ranges, refrigerators etc.)
Keep children away. Do not let visitors contact
•
tool or extension cord. All visitors should be kept
away from work area.
Store idle tools. When not in use, tools should be
•
stored in a dry, high or locked-up place, out of the
reach of children
Dress properly, wear protective gloves.
•
Do not abuse cord. Never carry the tool by cord
•
or yank it to disconnect it from wall outlet. Keep
cord from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and
•
clean for better and safer performance. Inspect
the tool cords periodically and, if damaged, have
them repaired by an authorized service facility.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if
damaged. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil
and grease.
Disconnect tools. When not in use, before
•
servicing, and when changing accessories.
Remove adjusting keys and wrenches. Form the
•
habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting
wrenches are removed from the tool before
switching it on.
Avoid unintentional starting. Be sure that the
•
tool is switched of before plugging in.
Outdoor use extension cords. When tool is used
•
outdoors, use only extension cords intended for use
outdoors and so marked.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use
•
common sense. Do not operate tool when you are
tired.
WARNING: The consumption of alcohol,
medication and drugs, plus states of
illness, fever and fatigue will afect your
ability to react. Do not use electric tools in any of
these situations.
Check the outer cover, don’t use the machine if
•
it is damaged.
Check damaged parts. Check for mounting, and
•
any other conditions that may afect its operation. A
part that is damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced by an authorized IVT service center. Do not
use tool if the switch does not turn it on and of.
Warning! The use of any other accessory or
•
attachment other than recommended in the
instruction manual present a risk of personal injury.
For the safety and good performance of the
•
device only professionals are allowed to open the
machine or adjust temperature.
If indicators don’t change for long, it means the
•
device is in irregular working state, stop your work
and turn of the power immediately.
Have your tool repaired by an expert. This electric
•
appliance is built in accordance with the relevant
safety rules. Repair of electric appliances must only
be carried out by experts otherwise it may cause
considerable danger for the user.
Initial operating
Always use the correct supply voltage: The power
supply voltage must match the information
quoted on the tool identiication plate.
