Instruction manual
The drilling depth can be set with the depth ruler (4).
∙
Loosen the screw for auxiliary handle adjustment
(6) by unscrewing the auxiliary handle (5)
∙
Set the desired drilling depth.
∙
Tighten the auxiliary handle (5)
Depending on the required angle of the auxiliary handle,
lock the pin (on body machine) into one of the gates (on
auxiliary handle) then tighten the hand grip to secure.
[F1]
GEAR RIM CHUCK
Insert the tool and tighten all three bores equally with
the drill chuck key (11).
[F2]
SWITCHING ON / OFF
Brief activation
Press the On / Off switch (9) and then let go again.
Continuous use
Switching on
Press On / Off switch (9) and retain with locking button
(10).
Switching off
Press and release On / Off switch (9).
[F3]
STEPLESS SPEED CONTROL
The machine runs with variable speed
between 0 and maximum depending on the
pressure applied to the On / Off switch (9).
Light pressure results in a low rotational
speed thus allowing smooth, controlled starts.
Do not load the machine so heavily that it comes to a
standstill.
VARIABLE SPEED
With the variable speed thumbwheel (8) the required
speed can be selected (also while running).
∙
Press On / Off switch (9) and retain with locking
button for On / Off switch (10).
∙
Set the needed speed.
The required speed is dependent on the material and
can be determined with practical trials.
After longer periods of working at low speed, allow the
machine to cool by running for approx. 3 minutes at
maximum speed with no load.
[F4]
CHANGING THE ROTATIONAL
DIRECTIONS
Operate the rotational direction switch (7) only at a
standstill.
With the rotational direction switch (7), the rotational
direction of the machine can be switched (when the On /
Off switch (9) is operated, the rotational direction switch
(7) is locked).
Right Rotation
Press the rotational direction switch (7) through to the
right stop.
Left Rotation
Press the rotational direction switch (7) through to the
left stop.
[F5]
DRILLING AND IMPACT DRILLING
The drill can shift from normal drilling to percussion
drilling, through the drilling / impact drilling selector
switch (2) fitted on top of the machine.
Drilling and driving
Turn drilling / impact drilling selector switch (2) to the
right.
Impact drilling
Turn drilling / impact drilling selector switch (2) to the
left.
The drilling / impact drilling selector switch (2) notches
in distinctly and can be operated whilst the machine is
running.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Before drilling check that
there are no hidden hazards such as
electrical cables, water or gas pipes
running below the surface. Use metal
/ voltage detector.
Drilling wood and plastic
To prevent wood splittering around the drill holes on the
reverse side, place a piece of scrap timber under the
material to be drilled.
Drilling metal
Metal such as sheet steel, aluminium and brass may be
