Installing / replacement of the accessory:
Rotate front part of the chuck (5) and tighten the
•
jaws;
the accessory must be installed straight!
To block the lock:
for this purpose move the coupling in the rear
•
part of the chuck (5) forward until it clicks.
Screwdriver tools
When using screwdriver bits, a bit holder should
always be used.
Use only the screwdriver bits that fit the screw
head.
Torque control
The screwdriver has step
torque adjustment, in
order to avoid damage to
the screw-heads or drills.
By turning the knob on
your screwdriver, you can
set the necessary step
from 1 (easily-turned
screws) to 23 (hard-to-turn
screw or drilling).
Always select the appropriate torque for the work
in hand at the time.
Initial operation
Always use the correct supply voltage:
the power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate.
Switching On/Off
Brief activation:
Press the On/Off switch (3) and then let go again.
Continuous use:
Switching on:
Press on/off switch (3) and
retain with locking button
(4).
Switching off:
Press and release
on/off switch (3).
Stepless speed control
The machine runs with variable speed between 0
and maximum depending on the pressure applied
to the on/off switch (3).
Light pressure results in a low rotational speed thus
allowing smooth, controlled starts.
Do not load the machine so heavily that it comes
to a standstill.
Changing the rotational directions
Operate the rotational direction switch (2) only
at a standstill.
With the rotational direction switch
(2), the rotational direction of the machine can be
switched (when the on/off switch (3) is operated,
the rotational direction switch (2) is locked).
Right Rotation
Press
the
rotational
direction
switch
(2)
through to the right stop
(for drilling, driving screws,
etc).
Left Rotation
Press
the
rotational
direction switch (2) through to the left stop (for
loosening and unscrewing screws and nuts).
Maintenance and cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Always keep the machine and the ventilation slots
clean. Should the machine fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an authorized customer
services center for IVT power tools.
Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste.
Machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine.
