WARNING!
Removing the valve from service or disassembling the valve while there is pressure in the valve body
may result in serious injury or damage to the valve.
Relieve pipeline pressure and lockout the isolation valve before servicing the valve.

MAINTENANCE
(a)
Disassembly Procedure
1.
Close isolation valve (1)
2.
Open gauge port ball valve until pressure is
released (2)
3.
Once Pressure is released, loosen bolts, nuts and
washers (3)
4.
Remove top flange assembly (4) and check sealing
O-ring for damage
5.
Remove multi-orifice Anti-Surge Float (5) and
check sealing O-ring for damage
6.
Remove Control Float (6) and Nozzle Float (7)
assembly from valve body.
7.
The valve is now dis-assembled. Clean top flange,
anti-surge float and control float by rinsing with
water. Clean interior of valve body.
8.
Dis-assemble Nozzle Float (7) from lower Control
Float (6).
9.
Remove the Nozzle Float (7) from the Nozzle (8).
To hold Nozzle (8) from rotating, insert a flat screw
driver thru the center hole in the Nozzle Float (7)
into the slotted end of the Nozzle (8) OR through
one of the slots in the Upper Nozzle Assembly
Plate (9) and unscrew the Nozzle Float (7).
10.
Use a screw driver to dis-assemble the Upper
Nozzle Assembly Plate (9), Lower Nozzle Retaining
Plate (10) and the Nozzle (8) from the Control Float
(6). Inspect the small orifice in the Nozzle (8) for
blockage and the Nozzle Seat (11) for damage or
permanent deformation. Rinse Nozzle (8) in clean
water.
