Connecting the external high voltage on/off control signal
In order to switch the high voltage of the generator on/off via an external control refer to section
5.7
in the full manual.
The main screen
The LCD display provides information about the status of the generator. This information is
shown via texts and symbols.
The main screen of the generator shows the currently
measured voltage and current and also the operational mode.
Texts are shown on the left-hand side of the display and
symbols on the right-hand side. The symbols that refer to an
operational mode appear on the same line as the text.
Explanation of the symbols used:
Generator is operating in Voltage Control (VC) mode.
High voltage is switched on.
External on/off mode is enabled.
RunButton mode is enabled.
Rotating dash, serial communication is operational.
Flashing E, communication problems.
Parameter cannot be changed.

set values are shown for as long as the key is depressed. After releasing the key the main
screen is displayed again after 2 seconds.
Changing the Voltage Setpoint
Note:
-
Avoid unnecessarily high output voltages, otherwise spark-over can occur on the
charging bars or electrodes. This will impair the reliability and proper functioning of
the charging process.
