Welding process does not
start.
No gas or cooling liquid supply.

Check the connections at the welding power supply.
No motor calibration carried out.

Carry out motor calibration

Weld head does not clamp
correctly
in the pipe.
Workpiece outside the tolerance range.

Use an adapted combination of clamping arbor and
clamping inserts.
Gas bottle not opened correctly or not at
all or not connected.

Open or connect gas bottle.
Default setting of expanding neck
incorrect.
X
Turn in further (see chap. 8.4.1, p. 49 to chap.
Continuously large and
constantly different speed
deviations.
Defect at the power source or weld head.

Contact Service.
Arc does not ignite.
Poor ground connection.

Check the ground connection.

Remove insulating intermediate layers.

Clean the workpiece.
