If your CT334exa is out of order, check the following possible causes.
Q1: When the CT334exa is turned on, the display or counter LED does not come on.
The line cord is disconnected from the main unit or the wall outlet.
The top cover is open.
The margin receiver is not properly set.
If none of the possible causes above apply and the display or counter LED still does not come
on (get energized), then your CT334exa is out of order.

Q2: Pressing the Start button does not feed paper.
The paper supply unit cover is open.
The paper supply unit is not properly mounted. (
See Page 6.
)
The paper size (A4 = 210 x 297 mm) is not proper. The paper lodges at the paper supply unit
guide.
The paper is curling excessively at the edges or curls downward. (
See Page 5.
)
The paper is coated with excessive silicone oil. (
See Page 5.
)
The pickup roller is excessively worn so that it cannot pick up paper. (See
Page 14
to replace
the roller.)
If none of the possible causes above apply and the paper is not still fed, then your CT334exa is
out of order.

Q3: Two or three sheets are fed at a time.
The humidity is too low so that static electricity is produced.
Each sheet sticks to another due to static electricity. (Loosen the stack of paper before setting.)
The CT334exa is not properly grounded.
More than the allowable number of sheets (40 sheets) are in the paper supply unit.
The paper is out of spec or has high frictional resistance.
If none of the possible causes above apply and more than one sheet is still fed at a time, then
your CT334exa is out of order.

Q4: The blade is dull.
The blade may have cut a foreign substance. The unit must be replaced.
