Feed the cable from the outside through the grommet,
strip and connect it. Do not connect shielding braid to
the meter side.
Commissioning
1.
Press the four side tabs of the housing cover inward
and remove the cover.
2.
Press the service key for approx. 3 s.

appears in the display.
In this state you can use the service software to
parameterise the tariffs and the fast pulses.

Close the housing cover.
4.
Press Key 1.

The display will show the text PArA ----.

Press Key 2.

You get into the parameterization loop.

Select the desired size by using Key 1.
7.
Press Key 2 to edit the value.
8.
Change the flashing digit by using Key 2.
9.
Press key 1 to confirm the change. If the value has
been completely changed, an asterisk is shown for a
brief time.
10. Open the shut-off valves in front and behind the instal-
lation site.
11. Check the heating system for impermeability and ven-
tilate it thoroughly.
12. No more than 100 s later, message F0 will disappear.
After that, check that the displays for flowrate and tem-
peraures are plausible.
13. Remove air from the system until the flow indication is
stable.
14. Attach the seals to the screw fittings and the sensors.
Exchange
1.
Note the direction of flow and compare with the arrow
on the meter.
2.
Close the shut-off devices in front and behind the in-
stallation site.
3.
Remove the seals.
4.
Detach the calculator from the wall, if applicable.
5.
Remove the temperature sensor from the tee, ball
valve or immersion sleeve.
6.
Slowly open threaded fittings as there could still be
pressure on the line (e.g. shut-off valve no longer clos-
es correctly).
7.
Dismount meter.
8.
Remove seals.

Reading
For 18 months at the end of each month, the counter saves
the values for
▪
Energy
▪
Volume
▪
Tariff memory
▪
Throughput measuring time and
▪
error hours
as well as the maximum monthly value with data stamp for
▪
flow
▪
capacity
▪
temperature difference
▪
flow temperature and
▪
backflow temperature.
On the annual reference date the computer saves the
same values, but instead of the monthly maximum it saves
the lifetime maxima.
You have two options to read the meter:
1.via the optical interface
2.manually via the display loops
NOTICE

Any ongoing parameterisation can be can-
celled by pressing the service key again. In
this case the value stays unchanged.

A D cell is required for battery operation
with fast pulses.

In case the ALU has not been deliv-
ered with connected battery you will
have to enter the current date and cur-
rent time on start-up.
