Inclination of the blades
When you are not using the smoothing disc you can set the angle of the
blades by turning the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the angle
and counter clockwise to decrease it.
The recommended inclination for smoothing steps are shown in the
following illustration.

Wet surface

minimum inclination (5°)

Plastic work

medium inclination (10°)

Semi hard to hard finishing work

maximum inclination (15-30°)

Blade replacement
The machine comes complete with 4 blades already fitted on the
machine; it is possible to order additional blades to run a different kind
of work or for replacement due to wear.

Injury hazard
The replacement of the blades must be carried out with the
engine switched off and disconnected from its power source.
The machine also must be supported so that it cannot fall when
raised for the operation.
