ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
6.3
Moving the machine during operation
During use with rotating blades the machine can be moved easily in all
directions following the instructions shown in the following figure.
To move the power trowel forward, turn the handlebars clockwise
(a). To move backward, turn the handlebars counter-clockwise (b).
To move the power trowel leftward slightly raise the handlebars (c). To
move to the right, press down gently on the handlebars (d).
6.4
Preparation of the work area
In the case of work on public land, open to the movement of pedestrians
and vehicles, it is necessary to delimit the work area with barriers or
roadblocks, at least 2 m away from the area to be treated.
Prepare the concrete as for a manual smoothing and make sure you
have a well levelled surface. When the concrete has become so hard to
allow the operator to walk over it, leaving only a small footprint, you
can start the roughing operation if desired after mounting the smoothing
disk to have the effect of plastering trowel.
