Calibr
ation:
Follow these steps to recalibrate the level:
(1) P
ress and hold the R
EF button before turning the unit O
N.
(2) T
urn the unit on and the word “C
AL
” will appear in the display.
(3) Release the R
EF button and place the level on a known level sur
face.
(4) P
ress the R
EF button again and “C
AL1” will show on the display.
(5) Once the measurement displays, rot
ate the level 180° end-to-end.
(6) P
ress the R
EF button again and “C
AL2” will briefly show on the display.
The level is now calibrated and ready for use. If the display reads “Err” after this
procedure, the reference sur
face used was not level and the procedure should be
repeated from the beginning using a different reference sur
face.
Note:

king calibration after a fall or any significant temperature
change (+/- 20°F) since the previous calibration.
