General
This section provides the necessary information needed by those personnel that
are responsible to place the Hitch Hauler in operational readiness and maintain
its safe operating condition. To ensure maximum service life and safe operation,
be sure that all inspections and maintenance have been completed before
placing the Hitch Hauler into service.
Preparation, Inspection and Maintenance
It is important to establish a comprehensive inspection and preventative
maintenance program.
Table 2-1
outlines the periodic Hitch Hauler inspection
and maintenance recommended by IRONguard Safety Products. Consult your
local, regional or national regulations for further requirements.
NOTE:
The frequency of inspections must increase as environment and
frequency of use requires.
Pre-Use Inspection
It is the User’s responsibility to perform a Pre-Use Inspection of the Hitch
Hauler prior to use. Refer to
Section 2
of this manual for Pre-Use Inspection
procedures.
This manual must be read and understood in its entirety prior to performing a
Pre-Use Inspection.
