Setup & Positioning
Choosing a Suitable Location
Atem X can be placed directly against a
wall or any other vertical surface, such as
a cupboard or beside a sofa. It does not
have to be positioned “in the middle of the
room”. Rotate the purifier to change the
direction of the air flow as desired.
Ideally position the purifier so that the
control panel is facing upward, i.e. at the
twelve-o-clock position – the Atem X then
directs air upwards, away from the wall, for
very good air circulation to clean the
whole room.
Installation
Floor standing
Place the purifier on the floor. The stand’s non-slip feet ensure a steady
stance on most floor surfaces.
Optionally, mount the purifier onto the mobile base if you need to move it
on a regular basis. The mobile base works well on hard surfaces, it is not
suited for use on carpet surfaces.
Arrange the supply cord where it will not be tripped over, away from
traffic areas. Excess cord can be stowed in the cord channel.
Wall mounting
The purifier can be mounted onto walls with the optional Atem X wall-
mounting kit. Refer to the mounting instructions supplied with the wall-
mounting kit.
