Remove and clean the Impaktor
Pull the center tab. Once removed, the
Impaktor can be thoroughly cleaned with a
soft brush or a vacuum cleaner fitted with a
brush attachment. If required, the Impaktor
can be cleaned further by rinsing under
running water at a wahbasin and then letting
it dry. After it has dried, the cleaned Impaktor
can be inserted back into the inlet grille.
Replace the Impaktor
Ensure that the slots on the Impaktor match
tabs on the inner side of the grille (the left
and right sides are made different to ensure
that the Impaktor is inserted the right way
round). Hook the Impaktor slots underneath
the grille’s tabs – the Impaktor will arch
outwards. Press downwards onto the center
of the Impaktor.
Replace the inlet grille
Locking levers open
Ensure that both the locking levers are in the
open position.
Slide in the grille
Take care that the tabs on inlet grille slot into
the slide on both sides of the inlet opening.
Gently slide the inlet grille back into position.
Close locking levers
Move both the locking levers into their
respective closed positions.
Repeat Steps 3 … 6
Repeat the process for the remaining two filters. Remember that you can rotate the purifier
counterclockwise to gain easy access.
Replace the front cover
Push the front cover back into place. The spigot on the inside of the front cover slides into socket in
the inner cover.
