2.5. Replacement Right for Discontinued Models

If an identical device is no longer sold by IPO Technik-Handels GmbH or the manufacturer of the device
at the time of the assertion of the warranty claim, IPO Technik-Handels GmbH is entitled to supply the
customer, in fulfillment of his warranty claim, with an equivalent or higher-quality, non-identical device
that fully meets the technical requirements of the device. For the equivalence it is not the replacement
value at the time of the warranty claim but the value at the time of purchase that counts.

2.6. Exclusion of Far-Reaching Claims, in Particular for Damages

There  shall  be  no  further  claims  under  the  warranty.  In  particular,  there  are  no  claims  for  damages,
especially not for consequential damages.

2.7. Duration and Commencement of the Warranty

The warranty period is seven years and begins with the invoice date.

2.8. Relation to Legal Claims

The warranty applies in addition to the statutory claims for defects. These are not limited by the warranty
in any way.

2.9. Assertion

The warranty is to be asserted for customers who have purchased directly from IPO Technik-Handels
GmbH by sending the repair request in text form (e-mail or letter) to IPO Technik-Handels GmbH and
sending the device to IPO Technik-Handels GmbH to the following address:

IPO Technik-Handels GmbH
c/o K36302 LogoiX
Wasserburger Str. 50a
83395 Freilassing
Germany

For the assertion of the guarantee the presentation of the original invoice, from which the product and
buyer data result, is a requirement.

2.10. Shipping Costs

The customer bears the shipping costs to IPO Technik-Handels GmbH. The costs of the return shipment
from  the  manufacturer  IPO  Technik-Handels  GmbH  to  the  customer  shall  be  borne by  IPO  Technik-
Handels GmbH.

If the shipping address of the buyer at the time of the warranty claim differs from his shipping address
at the  time  of  the  purchase, and  if  the shipping  address  at the  time  of  the  warranty  claim  is  not  in  a
member state of the European Union, IPO Technik-Handels GmbH will only bear the costs of the return
shipment that would be incurred if a return shipment were made to the shipping address of the buyer at
the  time  of  the  conclusion  of  the  purchase  contract.  Because  of  the  additional  costs,  IPO  Technik-
Handels GmbH can make the return shipment dependent on prior reimbursement by the buyer.

2.11. Exclusion of Warranty

The warranty is excluded if the defect was caused by improper handling of the device. If the device was
not properly maintained and a defect occurs in the course of this, the claim to the warranty expires. The
warranty is excluded in particular if the defect is due to the fact that the customer has not followed the
instructions  for  use  or  has  carried  out  repair  work  inside  the  device  himself.  The  warranty  is  also
excluded if the defect was caused by a random external event.

2.12. Spare parts

In the 7-year period of the manufacturer's guarantee, the procurement of spare parts is also guaranteed.
Further information on the procurement of spare parts can be found on our homepage.
