3.3 Properties of the battery pack
The rechargeable battery pack requires an „adjustment period“ so as to be able to
reach its full operating capacity. This „adjustment period“ is reached under normal
operating conditions within the first three charge and discharge cycles of the
rechargeable battery pack. Following this period of „adjustment“, the rechargeable
battery pack will reach its maximum operating capacity for the whole of its normal
service life.
Note: rechargeable batteries discharge naturally when not being used.
This is a normal process and not a defect. For this reason, the battery should be
charged up prior to long-term storage and should be recharged at least once every
three months. The rechargeable battery pack is equipped with an audio emitter! It
produces a signal when the charge has dropped to a level that renders recharging
necessary!
Storage
Charge the rechargeable battery pack fully prior to storage to ensure an extended
service life. The charging circuitry is located inside the rechargeable battery pack
itself. The environmental temperature range is between 0°C and 35°C.
