You can also choose to set a range of IP addresses to deny access, but allow
several other IP address in the range to access the camera. The above
picture is an example. Users with IP addresses between 192.168.50.151 ~ 161
will not be able to connect to this camera, only 192.168.50.159 is allowed to
connect.
Note: When using this method, the order of the conditions of "Allow" in the list
must be the input entry above the entry of "deny".
If we reverse the entry order to:
Deny
:
192.168.50.151~192.168.50.161
being the first on the IPv4 list
Allow
:
192.168.50.159
being the second on the IPv4 list
Due to the order being set, the user using
192.168.50.159
IP address will then
be unable to connect to this camera. Other IP addresses will be allowed
access if not enlisted in the access list.
