Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do
as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove
all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic
bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. check the
appliance after unpacking for any visible damage, possible
from transportation.
If present, pull the battery insulating strip off the battery
compartment cover or remove the batteries protective
film and insert the batteries
according to the polarity.
If the scale fails to operate, remove
the batteries completely and insert
them again. your scale is equipped
with a replace battery indicator.
When the scale is operated with batteries which are
too weak,

appears in the display field and the scale
automatically switches off. the battery must be replaced
in this case (3 x1,5 v, aaa, mikro). the used, completely
drained standard and rechargeable batteries must be
disposed of in specially marked collection containers, at
toxic waste collection points or electrical product
retailers.
Place the scale on a firm level floor (no carpet); a firm
floor covering is required for correct measurement.
