• Upon activation of the pump, noise
levels may be higher for 3 to 5 minutes.
This is considered normal.
• Make sure hose connection is set firmly,
and no leaks are noticeable.
• Water hose should not be bent or
tangled!
• Select the desired humidity setting and
fan speed level, for pump draining to
initiate.
Note:
1) This operation should not be used when outdoor
temperatures are equal or less than 0oC (32 F), since
water within the hose will freeze and block the water
flow, possibly causing the unit to fail.
2) Bucket should be emptied once a week while in pump
draining operation. When this operation is not in use,
the pump drain hose should be removed from the outlet.
3. Pump draining
While operating the dehumidifier with the pump
drainage setting, the drain hose outlet should be
shut be the supplied plug. The pump drainage
hose (od=1/4 supplied) can be placed at an
elevated level. Place the pump drainage hose
into the corresponding outlet of the unit and
position the drainage hose to a nearby drainage
facility.
To activate the pump operation, press the pump
pad. When bucket is full the pump will start
operating.
