SAFETY RULES
RECOMMENDATIONS
1.
STARTENT
is not adapted to severe weather conditions such as
strong winds, heavy rains, storms or hailstorms.
2. The product is not adapted to snow load. In the event of snow
gathering, remove it from the roof regularly to avoid the tent
collapsing.
3. You shouldn’t leave your tent unattended.
4. In case of strong winds, disassemble the tent (start with sidewalls,
then dismantle the canopy).
5. By special order, you can have your canopy made of flame retardant
fabric (which meets the standards of B1 requirements).
1. Read these instructions carefully before you get to work.
2. Be cautious while setting up the tent to avoid being hurt and
prevent other damage.
3. It is recommended a minimum of 2 people to assemble and
disassemble a single pole tent, 3 people to assemble a twin pole
tent, and 4 people to assemble a three pole tent.
4. Before disassembling the structure, the tent must be thoroughly
cleaned. Any spots or stains on the fabric should be removed
immediately with a warm damp cloth. Do not use detergents or
pressure washers.
5. Storing a dirty or damp tent can result in a breakdown of the
materials as fabrics tend to mold, mildew and/or rot. Before putting
your tent in its transport bag for storage, make sure it is clean and dry.
Store it in a dry place to avoid moisture contamination. In case of bad
weather, repack your tent to avoid damage, but as soon as it’s possible,
unpack it once again to let it dry.
6. With recurring gusts of wind, check anchoring systematically.
7. To remove the spikes and anchors, we recommend that you use an
anchor puller (not included in the standard tent equipment).
8. STARTENT
may be used with wind up to 50 kph. During stronger
wind, it is recommended in all cases to lower down the canopy
