5.3.1 Using the Emergency Crank
WARNING!

Due to a power outage or an electronic
malfunction, an emergency crank is provided.
– DO NOT use the emergency crank to raise the
bed. Personal injury or damage to the crank
may occur.

To avoid injury or damage from moving parts
– Unplug the bed from the wall outlet before
using the emergency crank.
Failure to remove the emergency crank may
cause damage or personal injury.
– The emergency crank MUST be removed before
the bed is used.

You should find the emergency crank stored in the
link fabric of the spring deck. If you do not find the
crank, contact your dealer.
1.
Remove the emergency crank from the spring deck of
the bed under the mattress.
2.
Locate the exposed shaft end according to the function
you want to perform.

Lower the head section with shaft end
