3 CONNECT THE CHARGER
DO NOT CHARGE BATTERY TYPES OUT OF THE
CHARGER’S WORKING CAPABILITY.
3.1
Start charging:
a. Connect the red and black clamps to the positive and negative battery posts.
b. Connect the power cord to the AC power source.
Finish charging:
a. Disconnect the AC power cord/plug from the power source first.
b. Disconnect the charger and the clamp cable set.
c. Remove the clamps from the battery posts.
TO AVOID DANGER, DO NOT HAVE THE CLAMPS
IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER.
3.2
Make sure the charger clamps connect to the battery posts firmly. It may cause dan-
ger or stop charging when the clamps come loose from the battery posts. Cleaning
and maintaining the charger clamps and battery posts will enhance the charging
efficiency and life of the charger.
3.3
The LED indicator on the charger:
Yellow LED -
Charging.
Green LED -
Charged/The battery is full and does not need to be charged.
Red LED -
Error. (Please remove the power source and check for a possible
problem. Restart charging after the problem is solved.)
