Restrict access to operating elements
Only people who have been instructed by relevant expert personnel may operate
Venetian blinds. Particular care should be taken by people who might not assess
the dangers correctly resulting from misuse or incorrect use.
Never allow children to play with the control units! Keep remote controls away from
children.
Operation in wind
Venetian blinds are not weather protection (e.g. with hail, snow, etc.) When wind
occurs, the Venetian blinds must be taken up, this also applies to Venetian blinds
with electric motors. (Recommended wind speed threshold values for outside
Venetian blinds are around 12 - 15 m/s.)
Operation in winter
When operating Venetian blinds in winter, it is imperative that the system is not iced
up. If ice-free operation cannot be guaranteed, under no circumstances should the
Venetian blind be operated. Operation is only permitted when no ice is present.
Generally the following applies: take Venetian blinds up if there is danger of snow
and ice.
Movement range of Venetian blind
Do not use system unobserved! Before operating Venetian blinds, ensure that no
people or objects are present within the movement range of the Venetian blind.
If the Venetian blind touches an object while being let down (e.g. plant pot), the
blind will be damaged or the lifting tape will be wound up slanted. If the blind is
obstructed when taken up, the tapes can tear or the drive can get damaged!
The lift mechanism consists partly of textile materials which might show
manufacturing tolerances or tolerances when being used. This might cause
a slight slanting position of the blind.
Undesignated use
Do not hang additional weights on to product.

ATTENTION!
■
When the listed wind speed is reached, the Venetian blind needs to be taken up!
■
With element heights over 3000 mm, the value listed in Beaufort [bft] needs to be
reduced by 1.
■
When using a wind monitor, always attach it at a position which is most exposed
to wind.
■
The maximum distance from slat to facade must not exceed 100 mm.
