Connect wires per Single Pole, 3-Way, or Multi-Way 

Application Diagrams as follows:

Screw wire connectors on clockwise making sure no 
bare conductors show below the wire connector.  

Secure each connector with electrical tape.

Insert wires straight

then twist clockwise
