TVK-600 Configuration Manual
You can see the list of recorders and decoders configured in the keypad under the
Device Management
>
Device List
menu with their IDs, model numbers and IP
addresses. Figure 15 on page 33 for an example of a system and its device IDs. In the
example shown, there are two recorders and one decoder linked to the keypad, each
with a different device ID. They are numbered in the order in which they were added to
the keypad.
It is not possible to output the list of recorder/decoder IDs to an Excel file for later
reference.
MON button
This appears on screen when you are in
Keyboard
mode (see Figure 14). Enter the
unique ID of the monitor and press the
MON
button. “1 MON” is the main monitor.
For information of the monitor ID, go to
Device Management
>
Output Channel
>
Output List
menu (see “Manage an output channel” on page 19 for an example).
It is not possible to output the list of monitor IDs to an Excel file for later reference.
CAM button
This appears when you are in Keyboard mode. Enter the unique ID of the camera and
press the
CAM
button.
The camera ID depends on whether you want to control the recorder directly or through
a decoder. When you work directly with a recorder via the keypad, the recorder’s
cameras are treated independently of any cameras connected to other recorders linked
to the keypad. However, when you use a decoder, all the cameras are grouped
together consecutively in their CAM IDs, their ID number depending on the sequence in
which the recorders and decoders were added to the keypad.
Control the recorder directly
: Enter the camera ID as the CAM ID of the camera for the
recorder. For example, in Figure 15 on page 33 to control camera 4 of the TVR 4616
recorder (DEV 2), the CAM ID is “4”.
Control a recorder via a decoder
: Enter the camera ID as the CAM ID of the camera for
the recorder. For example, in Figure 15 on page 33 to control camera 4 of the
TVR 4616 recorder (DEV 2), the CAM ID is “36”.
You can see on-screen the camera IDs linked to the keypad from the Device
Management > Input Channel > Input List menu, or from the exported list. See
“Import/export an input device list” on page 16.
