1. Select the multi-function printer you want to install from the MFP server list and click “Connect.”
. Windows will detect the
new hardware and
prompt you to install
the MFP drivers. When
the system finishes its
series of prompts, the
drivers are all installed.
If the system can’t find
the MFP driver, insert
the installation Cd of
the MFP and go to the
main menu to find
drivers on the Cd.
Note:
If the MFP you
have connected is a
composite device, the
system will install the
driver for a composite
device. If/when the warning screen displays, click “Continue Anyway.” When the system
finishes its series of prompts, the drivers are all installed. If the system can’t find the MFP
driver, insert the MFP’s installation CD and go to the main menu to find drivers on the CD.
3. Once the MFP installation is complete, you’ll see the MFP has been added to the Printers
and Faxes window.
