Remove Fan Assembly from the System and SATA
Cables from the Host Bus Adapter Cards
A.
Simultaneously pull up on both sides of the system and remove the fan assembly from the
storage system. Set the system fan assembly on a static-free surface. See Figure 6.
B.
Carefully remove the 16 SATA Cable connectors from the three SATA Host Bus Adapter
Cards near the back of the system. See Figure 6.
