Note:
Most of the switches on the main board are SPDT slide switches with one of the positions
identified by a DOT. Switch positions are thus indicated as DOT
or NO DOT. The switches on the
daughter card are DIP switches and are indicated as ON or OFF.

User-Interface Panel
The user-interface panel, shown in
, contains the following items:

LCD Panel
The liquid-crystal display panel is mounted on an adapter board, which slides in and out of the
user-interface panel for operation in either landscape or portrait orientation. (
shows
the LCD Panel in landscape orientation.) There is a separate connector for each orientation.
The LCD Panel connects from J2 on the keypad card to J17 on the main board by a ribbon
