Sautéing before Pressure or Slow Cooking
Quite often, you’ll want to sauté foods to brown them before further
cooking them.

Select the Smart Program you want to use to finish cooking.
Deglazing
Deglazing is the process of adding a liquid to a hot pan, releasing all of
the delicious, caramelized pieces stuck to the bottom.
1.
Remove food from inner pot
2.
Add water, broth, or wine
3.
Use wooden spoon or silicone spatula to loosen food stuck to
bottom of the inner cooking pot
