Secure the front fan guard with the lock clips (6), then tighten the
connecting screw and nut.
Fuse protection
There is an electrical fuse built into the plug for overcurrent protection. If
the fan draws too much current, the fuse blows to shut off the motor
automatically. Follow the steps below to replace the fuse.

Unplug the fan. Do not unplug it by pulling on the cord.

Open the fuse access cover on top of the plug by sliding it towards the
blades.

Carefully turn the plug over to remove the fuse, then replace the fuse.

Close the fuse access cover.
Warning
Risk of fire. Replace the fuse only with a 5A, 125 Volt fuse.
Warning
Risk of fire. Do not replace the plug. It contains a safety device
(fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the fan
motor cord plug is damaged.
