Troubleshooting
Note
The five iPod
®
holders provided with your boombox are for
use with this boombox only. They are not universal docks.
The universal dock number is shown on the front of each
dock (see the following).
Caution
Do not try to repair the boombox yourself. Doing so will
invalidate your warranty.
Problem Possible cause
CD player will not play • Disc may be inserted upside down
• Disc not mounted correctly on spindle
• Dirty or defective disc
• Dirty pick up lens
• Player lid not closed
• Moisture/condensation, allow the player to warm up to
room temperature for 60 minutes
• FUNCTION not set to CD
Noise or sound
distorted on AM or
FM radio broadcasts FM—The antenna is not extended.
AM—Your boombox is not positioned correctly.
No sound The volume control is turned down
The AC power adapter is unplugged
No batteries, dead batteries, or batteries not installed
correctly
Intermittent sound • Dirty or defective disc
• Dirty pick up lens
• Player is subject to excessive vibration or shock
• Poor headphone connection
No sound in iPod
®
