2.5 Earth Ground
To ensure functional reliability, the Chassis Ground must be connected to the protective earth.
Grounding your unit to a proper earth ground increases the handling of EMI, transient voltages,
and electrostatic discharge.
Note:
All line-to-ground transient protection circuitry will be disabled if chassis ground is not
connected with the protective earth.
