5.7  EC (Refrigerant Leakage Detection diagnosis and solution)

Description

: Define the evaporator coil temp.T2 of the compressor just starts running as Tcool. 

In the beginning 8 minutes after the compressor starts up, if T2

<

Tcool-1°C (Tcool-33.8°F) does not keep continuous 4 

seconds and compressor running frequency higher than 50Hz does not keep continuous 3 minutes, and this situation 
happens 3 times, the display area will show “EC” and  AC will turn off.

Recommended parts to prepare:

• Faulty T2 sensor

• Faulty iIndoo

r PCB

• System problems, such as leakage or blockages

Troubleshooting and repair

:

Power off, then restart the unit 2 minutes later.

Are any leakages 

present?

Check System for blockages and 

clear blockages if present.

Does a problem remain?

Put your hands in front of the 

indoor air outlet.

air blowing out from 

indoor air outlet?

Is it securely

Replace the 

indoor PCB
