FASTENING ON THE SUBSTRATE
There are several possibilities for installing the supports on the roof substrate.
The basic prerequisites are a statically bearing substructure and use of
the original fastener. If in doubt consult a structural engineer.
The height of the anchor above the surface of the structure should not exceed 300 mm.
FASTENING POSSIBILITIES:
a) SUBSTRATE: WOOD
SANDWICHCONSTRUCTION
= Fastening set BEF-205
Wood cross section of the carrying wood
at least 80 x 100 mm without wood plate,
wood plate thickness 20 mm (see Fig.).
Fasten with:
4 x original wood screws
8.0 x 120/84 mm and
8 x original wood screws
6.0 x 40 mm
ATTENTION only fasten 8x120 wood screws
in structural timber!
Minimum penetration depth in the carrying
structure is 95 mm
