Before use, read this manual carefully and store it for future use.
WARNINGS
• For a proper use of the product, please read the following instruction manual.
Incorrect use can cause damage to the device.
• Use this product only for its intended purpose, as described in this instruction manual
such as a bathroom digital scale for household use only. Any other use should be
considered improper and dangerous.
• Keep all packaging materials (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene etc.) out of the
reach of children as they are potentially dangerous and must be disposed of as
required by law.
• This scale should not to be used to weigh objects or substances in commercial
transactions, to produce medicines, to calculate tolls, tariffs, taxes, premiums, fines,
remunerations, indemnities or fees of a similar kind determined by weight.
• This scale is to be used for keeping one’s own personal weight under control and is
not to be used for diagnostic purposes or for medical treatment. Values which may
seem unusual or outside the norm should always be discussed with your doctor. In
order to avoid danger to the user of this device, the doses of any drug or therapy
prescribed by one’s own doctor should in no circumstances be modified on the basis
of data calculated by this device.
• Avoid overloading the scale, it may be damaged.
• Do not open or tamper with the device: repairs must be performed only by authorized
personnel; otherwise the warranty expires.
• Keep the scale platform dry to avoid slipping.
• Do not place the balance on a soft surface (like a carpet) otherwise the weight
measurement may be inappropriate.
• Do not place any objects on the scale when not in use.
• Do not jump on the scale.
• Do not overload the scale.
• Warning! Do not step on the scale with wet feet.
• Keep batteries and scale out of reach of children.
• The detection of parameters in children under the age of 10 years may not be correct.
• The balance can be used only for the detection of weight, without disclosing the
percentage of water, body fat, muscle mass and other parameters in children of any
age. The minimum weight is 2.5kg
• The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes on the design of the scale,
without affecting the safety, performance or functionality of the device.
• The detection of body fat is not indicated in the following cases:
- Children under the age of 10 and adults over 85 years.
- Persons with fever, oedema or osteoporosis.
- People on dialysis treatment.
- People with pacemakers.
- People taking cardiovascular medicament.
- Pregnant women
- Athletes who perform more than 5 hours of high-intensity sports activities every day
- People with heart rate below 60 beats / minute
• Avoid contact with metal objects (rings, chains), there is a risk of short circuit. As a
result of the short circuit, the battery can heat up considerably or even catch fire
