Set the upper limit frequency.
Select the upper limit frequency so that the music can play
sounds harmonious and voluminous and has no loss or increase in the bass range. The upper limit frequen-
cy can be diligently set between 40 and 200 Hz. In connection with smaller main loudspeakers, a higher
upper cut-off frequency is usually selected, while a lower cut-off frequency is recommended for larger
main loudspeakers.
After setting the upper limit frequency, you should check the volume setting [D] again and correct it if
necessary.

Bass-EQ.
You can use the bass EQ to call up various basic sound settings, which are largely based on your
taste and the area of application of the subwoofer. In “Cinema” mode, the lowest frequencies are empha-
sized the most. The „HiFi“ setting includes a slight increase in the lowest frequencies. In the “Flat” setting,
the bass EQ is switched off.

Filter bypass.
If you want to manage the bass in your amplifier, you can switch off the subwoofer‘s filters.

Power Mode.
The amplifier is switched on via the „Automatic“ power mode when a music signal [C] is
present. The amplifier switches on at an input voltage of around 0.75 mV (status LED lights up green) The
amplifier switches to standby after approx. 20 minutes without a music signal (status LED lights up red).
In the „Constant“ setting, the amplifier remains on regardless of the presence of a music signal as long as
the main switch is switched on. This leads to a high power consumption and should only be used in excepti-
onal cases.
J
Status LED.
The status LED shows you the current operating mode of the amplifier.
•
LED lights up green: amplifier is switched on and ready for operation
•
LED lights up red: amplifier is in standby
• LED does not light up: There is no power. Main switch [B] switched off or power plug removed [A]
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The subwoofer amplifier is equipped with overload protection, which reacts to heat and stability in the power sup
-
ply unit. If the overload protection starts, the amplifier switches itself off to avoid damage. The amplifier switches
on again when the values return to the normal range.
NOTE:
This overload protection is not a guarantee against
possible damage caused by overload.
