Power connection with the included IEC connector.
Before commissioning, make sure that your voltage
corresponds to the information printed here.
Warning:
If the voltage does not match, there is a risk of con-
siderable and irreparable damage to the subwoofer.

Power switch.
Turn on the amplifier by pressing the power switch. Do this only when you have established
the signal connection [C] to the amplifier. The status LED [J] lights up green. We recommend switching
the subwoofer off here if it will not be used for a long period of time or if you want to make changes to the
connections [C].

C
Analog in Cinch/RCA.
The subwoofer is supplied with signals via the analog cinch / RCA inputs. Depen-
ding on your amplifier, you can feed the signals in different ways:
1.
Amplifier with stereo pre-amplifier output without bass management:
- Connect the amplifier and subwoofer to the Right and Left / Mono inputs using a stereo cinch cable
- The filters of the subwoofer [H] are ON
2.
Amplifier with stereo pre-amplifier output with bass management:
- You would like to have your amplifier handle the bass management
- Connect the amplifier and subwoofer to the Right and Left / Mono inputs using a stereo cinch cable
- The filters of the subwoofer [H] are on bypass and are then switched off
3.
AV (pre)amplifier with LFE output
- Connect the AV (pre) amplifier and subwoofer to the Left / Mono input using a single cinch cable
- Depending on the equipment of your AV amplifier, you can carry out bass management in the sub
woofer [H = ON] or in the AV amplifier [H = bypass]

Level/Volume.
Depending on your amplifier, which may or may not have an additional volume control for
the subwoofer pre-amplifier output, you can reduce or increase the desired volume of the subwoofer here
to suit your taste.
E
Phase.
The phase setting can be used to compensate for a possible time lag between the subwoofer and
the main speakers. To set the correct phase, proceed as follows:
1. Turn up the volume of your subwoofer higher than you normally set it to [D]
2. Select the highest possible upper limit frequency [F]
3. While seated at your listening position, listen to a well-produced pop song
4. Have a second person turn the phase regulator slowly. Pay attention to changes in the bass reproducti-
on. The correct phase is set when the bass is reproduced strongest.
