Note:
If a pager alert is still occurring (audibly and/or by vibrating) it can be cancelled by pressing
the directional buttons. The alert message remains displayed until you either press the green MENU
or the red CANCEL button to decide what to do with the message.
1.35 Multiple Alerts
Normally, a pager receives a message and you read it before another message arrives. However, if a
new message arrives before a message has been acknowledged the new message alert is displayed on
the screen and the older message is pushed into the background. Similarly if the pager issues an alert,
for example for a flat battery, it is displayed on the screen and the message alert placed into
background. Multiple messages / alerts are structured in a queue arrangement: when more alerts
arrive, the existing queue of alerts gets pushed further in to the background.
