1. Checking
When you receive your equipment, open the packaging and check that your AVR has not
been damaged. Packaging includes:
R1 USB 600/1000/1500 VA
: AVR unit and a user guide.
2. Placement & storage conditions
The AVR has been designed to operate in a protected environment, at temperatures between
0°C and 40°C and at a humidity level ranging between 0% and 90% (no condensation). Install
the unit in a protected area that is free of excessive dust and has adequate air flow.
Do not obstruct the ventilation slots. Install the unit in an environment which is free from dust,
chemical vapours and conductors. Moreover, in order to avoid any interference, keep the AVR
at least 20cm away from the CPU (central processing unit). Please place the unit away from
other units at least 2.5cm to avoid interference.
3.
Connection
Check the identification plate to make sure that the power supply is compatible with network
voltage and that the device is powerful enough. Plug the AVR into a 2-pole, earthed outlet.
Then, connect devices to the AVR.
4. On/Off
Turn on the unit by
pressing the power switch to “RESET” position. Then, all connected
devices will be powered on. To make sure the AVR is ON, check if the green led is lightning.
If the yellow led is on, it means that the AVR stabilize the voltage. To turn it off, press the
power switch again.

The AVR can be mounted to a wall surface. There are two ways to position the unit:
vertically and horizontally.
1. Use a ruler to draw a straight line in 114 mm vertically or horizontally on the wall.
2. Use a sharp nail to puncture the center of the two ends to mark the wall.
(see below chart 1 as placing the unit horizontally)
3. Mount the unit by positioning the key-hole slots over the mounting nails. (see chart 2
and chart 3)
