5.18 Changing Probe Neck

Disassemble 1 Disconnect the Probe from the Sensistor Sentrac.
2 Open the Probe Cover, see Disassemble in Open Probe P60 Cover [ } 49].
3 Remove the Probe Sensor (A) from the Probe Neck (B) using a Sensor Key.
4 Remove the Probe PCB (D).
5 Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive in the mounting hole (C).
6 Remove the Probe Neck (B).
Assemble 1 Use Loctite 2400 on the new Probe Neck. For Flexible Neck use Loctite 2701.
2 Install the new Probe Neck. Make sure to align the hole in the hard Neck with
the mounting hole (C) in the probe.
Flex neck do not have any hole. Just tighten the neck with the threaded locking.

Use a Sensor Key to reinstall the Probe Sensor (A) in the new Probe Neck.

Reinstall the Probe PCB (D).

Reinstall the cables to the Probe Sensor (A).
