Ensure the child car seat is at the forward facing posi-
tion, and the desired recline position. Then tighten the 
free end of Top Tether adjuster B (47) until the indicator 
shows green. 

Pull the rotation button (13) outwards to release the child 
car seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) by 
90º or 180º, both left and right, at where the child car 
seat will lock into place automatically. 

CAUTION!  The  Top  Tether  (

Dual  Tether   )  is secured 

ONLY  when the indicator is completely green. 

CAUTION! The child restraint system can ONLY be used 
in forward or rearward facing position when travelling. 
Always  ensure  that  the  rotating  part  of  the  child 
restraint is fully engaged by trying to turn the child car 
seat (12) around in both directions.

To rotate it back to the forward facing position: pull the rotation button (13) outwards to 
release the child car seat (12), and then rotate the child car seat (12) back to the 
forward facing position, at where the child car seat will lock into place automatically.

2.5.4 Without Top Tether (

®

 Dual Tether ) (Group II/III)

Adjust the child car seat to the fullest recline position

 (Refer 

to section 2.4.1) 

and make sure recline mechanism is 

securely locked. 

Rotate the child car seat (If necessary refer to section 2.5), to 
the rear of the vehicle against the direction of travel.        
Ensure that the child car seat is in the rearward facing posi-
tion and the rotation mechanism is securely locked.

Double check to make sure that the child car seat is in the 
fullest reclined position. 

Install the ISOFIX. 

(Refer to section 2.1)

Prepare the ISOFIX. 

(Refer to section 2.1)

Ensure that the 5-point harness is correctly installed. 

(Refer to section 5)

Ensure that the 5-point harness is correctly adjusted.

 (Refer to section 2.3.1)

Push the child seat towards the backrest applying a firm, 
even pressure on both sides.

Install the Top Tether.

 (Refer to section 2.2.1)

CAUTION!  The  ISOFIX  connectors  (15)  are  secured  ONLY 
when both indicators (16) are completely green.

Press the red button (19) to release the 5-point harness 
buckle and press on the central adjuster (04) to pull out 
the shoulder belts (05). DO NOT pull on the shoulder 
pads (06). 

Place your child in the child car seat, and ensure that 
your child's back is lying flat against the backrest of the child 
car seat.

Guide the two buckle latches (20) together and insert 
them into the 5-point harness buckle (19). An audible 
“click” will be heard once the buckle is locked.
