Yate Production Dryers
Edition

Electromechanical vented dryers.
Certain versions of electromechanical dryer have three automatic ECO programmes, two of which are
controlled by two thermostats (50 °C and 60 °C) located in the front air duct, and the third by the timer
(approx 10’ duration).
The user selects the automatic programme as desired (full or half load), and sets the drying temperature.
Once the temperature set point for the programme is reached, the dynamic heating element will be deac-
tivated.
The third Eco programme is a short cycle (10 minutes) using a high temperature setting selected by the
user. In this instance there is no thermostat control.
The timed programme is controlled by the timer. The user selects high or low temperature by way of the
switch, and the selected duration of the programme is controlled by the timer.
At the start of the programme, the heating element is on and the temperature controlled by the thermostat
positioned on the front air duct, which will pilot one half of the heater to cut in and out as necessary until
the moment when the timer switches to the cooling stage.
The operating temperatures of the front thermostats are 55 °C for full load and 60 °C for half load.
These models have a separate reversing timer positioned at the bottom of the casing, near the front, which
enables counterclockwise rotation of the drum and deactivation of the heating elements.
