Equipment
Within the scope of this manual, equipment or electrical equipment is considered the ring blower or vacuum
pump with a side channel.
INW ring blower / vacuum pump
An INW ring blower / vacuum pump is any blower or pump with a INW type side channel, either single-stage
or multi-stage. Whether the equipment operates as a blower or pump depends on the connection to the
system.
Gas
Within the scope of this manual, gas is considered as pure gas or a mixture of gases. In practice, this is usu-
ally air.
