5.7.3 Pulse Generator
In this window the user can configure the parameters of the Internal Pulse
Generator – Figure 5.16.

Granularity:
Sets the granularity for the internal counters. Granularity can be set
to 1x, 10x, 100x or 1000x.
Period
:
Sets the pulse period in microseconds.
Width
:
Sets the pulse width in microseconds.
# of Pulses
:
Sets the number of pulses generated. Two modes are available:
1.
Continuous – provides a continuous operation. To stop the
process you have to press the “Stop” button.
2.
Send # Pulses
– the user can set only a discrete number of pulses
ranging (1 to 65500) to be generated. To stop the process you
have to press the “Stop” button. Otherwise, the process stops
automatically after the last pulse is sent.
Process
:
Start
– starts and stops the process of Internal Pulse Generator.
When the process is in progress, the ‘Start” button becomes a ‘Stop”
button.
Status
– provides the status of the process:
Red – the process is on hold,
Green – the process is working.
