There is a risk of explosion if not used properly!

Pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery! 
Then reinsert the battery compartment and replace the screw.

6.3 Mounting the antenna

Screw the included antenna into the radio’s antenna connector. 

6.4. Power connection

Connect the included power supply unit to the corresponding 
socket on the back of the device. Now plug the power supply unit 
into a 230V socket. Then pull out the telescopic antenna on the 
back of the radio to its full length to ensure the best possible 
reception if you wish to receive terrestrial transmitters via the 
antenna.
