USING YOUR JUICER
BEFORE FIRST USE
•

future use.
• Warning!
Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials as they pose
a risk of swallowing and suffocation!
• Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Care
USING THE JUICER
Assembly
Refer to Figure 1 as you assemble the juicer.
•
Place the motor unit (6) onto a flat and even surface. Press the motor firmly to the
surface so the suction cups on the base get a good grip.
• Place the pulp holder (3) on the rear of the juicer.
Tip:
Place a plastic bag into the
pulp holder for easy cleanup!
• Place the centrifuge base (10) on the motor unit (6), aligning the discharge above
the pulp holder.
• Warning!
The centrifuge has a sharp blade - take care when assembling to avoid
cutting yourself.
• Insert the centrifuge with ribs (9) in the centrifuge base so that the inner notched
wheel engages with the outer notched wheel. Press down firmly on the centrifuge
and slide it downwards into the motor unit. Make sure the centrifuge rotates evenly.
•
Position the lid (8) and fill nozzle (2) over the centrifuge.
• Pull the clamp (11) over the lid. Snap it into place using the slots on both sides of
the motor unit.
•
Place an appropriate juice container (a cup or drinking glass, for instance) under
the juice outflow pipe (7).
Preparing the Fruits and Vegetables
• Wash the fruit and/or vegetables before extracting juice.
• Peels and seeds do not have to be removed before extracting juice. Do remove
thick peels, such as those of lemons and oranges. Remove the large pips and pits
from fruits that have them to avoid damaging the juicer.
• Cut vegetables and fruits that are too large into smaller pieces. Conical vegetables
and fruits such as carrots should be inserted tip first.
EXTRACTING JUICE
Do not use the juicer for longer than 3 minutes uninterrupted. After 3 minutes of un
-
interrupted operation, let the juicer cool down for at least 20 minutes before using it
again!
Do not allow the pulp container or the juice container to overfill.
