Installation Sites
Always comply with the valid national regulations for installation sites and electrical connections.
The ventilation of the installation site must be appropriate for the unit output. Inadequate ventilation of the unit will result in over-
heating and damage. Always make certain that no intake or discharge vents are covered or blocked.
Keep a minimun distance of the ventilation grids to e.g. walls of 10 cm
Upon installation it must be considered the the unit discharges heat of approx. 400 watts and requires a minimum airflow of
approx. 100 m3 per hour. The max. ambient temperature at the place of installation must not exceed 32°C.
Water Connection
For unit versions with Inline carbonation technology : The dynamic (flowing) water pressure must be at least 2,5 bar and must not
exceed 6 bar. In case the maximum pressure of 6 bar cannot be ensured, a water pressure reducer (Cornelius PN 22-0096.965) must
be fitted before the unit.
Water pressures below 2,5 bars may lead to gas spitting at the dispense nozzle. In such cases the CO
2
pressure of the unit can be
reduced by the service technician, under acceptance of a lower CO
2
volume in the water. Alternatively the unit can be equipped with an
optional water booster pump (partnumber 22-0100-631) to improve the mains water pressure. Contact your local service technician for
more details.
For units with standard carbonator bowl technology : this unit version is already equipped with an internal waterpressure regulator.
The waterpressure for this version must be between 1,0 bar (dynamic) and 8,5bar maximum.
In case you have a waterfilter fitted before the unit, make sure that the waterpressure does not exceed the maximum allowed
values given by the supplier of the filter. If required install a separate pressure reducer before the filter.
Only valid for undercounter units and ECO version (= units without electronic AquaStop):
In order to assure safety against water leaks, please make sure that your installer has assembled the water stop device into
the mains water line feeding the unit.
